Maunalua - Bobby Moderow, Jr., Kahi Kaonohi, and Richard Gideon Formed in 1993, the first album for MAUNALUA was introduced in 2000 and garnered not only instant public success but also the prestigious "Hawaiian Album of the Year" at the Na Hoku Hanohano awards. Their third and latest album, "Ho'okanaka" was released in 2007 and won another Na Hoku Hanohano award when MAUNALUA was once again named "Group of the Year."

MAUNALUA performed at an inauguration luau for President Obama, January 2009 in Washington D.C. and starred in the "Curators of Hawaiian Music" concert series at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel in the summer of 2009. They are currently recording their newest album to be released in December 2014.

For their presentation at the Under Armour Hawaii Bowl halftime show MAUNALUA will perform three of their classic hits: Papalina Lahi Lahi, Kokee and Noho Pai Pai along with the island Christmas classic Mele Kalikimaka.

Jordan Segundo achieved national recognition competing in one of the most popular television shows in the nation and the world; "American Idol". He was selected to be a Finalist in Season Two.

As a result of his extensive exposure on "American Idol", Jordan was invited to sing for the current President of the United States, Barack Obama, at the Democratic Party annual convention banquet in Hawaii. He also performed at several L.A. Lakers basketball games, vocalized with Kenny Loggins at his CD release party, shared top billing with Jennifer Hudson in concert and traveled with Jim Brickman as his opening act throughout the United States.
